Our factory has spent decades mastering the craft of Icelandic wool production, and we are now channelling that expertise into something entirely new: a brand that is simultaneously a heritage manufacturer and a global creative partner.

Every piece we create, whether for our own Varma collection or for a global client, is 100% made in Iceland. We control the entire process — from yarn selection and pattern engineering to weaving, finishing, and quality control — ensuring uncompromising quality and authenticity in every single thread. When you work with Varma, you are working with the people who actually make the product, not an intermediary.
A Factory That Creates for the World
In recent years, our factory has produced a museum-scale wool installation for Björk, custom album-art blankets for Kaleo, branded merchandise for UN Women and Amnesty International, and bespoke textile collections for luxury hotel chains across Europe. Each project has pushed our craft forward and expanded our understanding of what Icelandic wool can achieve. We are a heritage factory with a global vision, and we are building a worldwide brand — one thread at a time.
